Alpine Lumber, based in Englewood, Colorado, is opening a new location in Silverthorne, Colorado. The full-line greenfield build will be the company’s 20th location in the Colorado and New Mexico areas.

According to Summit Daily, plans for the new facility scheduled to open in April 2021 include an indoor lumberyard that sits on six acres.

The company was founded in 1963 by the Kurtz family, and today is 100% employee-owned. Along with 19 lumberyards, the company also operations three Alpine Truss shops and three Alpine Millwork operations, as well as a pre-built stair shop, a FastFrame engineered wood center, and a rail-service material handling facility.
