Little Silver, N.J. — Builders General Supply Company has acquired Direct Millwork in Washington, N.J. With the acquisition, Direct Millwork will become a subsidiary of Builders General Supply.
Builders General Supply’s President, Philip Shaheen, said “This opportunity is a definite ‘win-win’ for both Direct Millwork and Builders General Supply and offers significant growth opportunities. Direct Millwork’s millwork and door shop operations will compliment Builders General Supply’s millwork and door shop operations in its Freehold branch location, and also expand Direct Millwork and Builders General Supply’s customer base and market while also providing a broader offering of products to Direct Millwork’s existing customers.”
Direct Millwork’s products and services include interior doors, moulding, windows, exterior doors, hardware and specialty products. Direct Millwork’s primary delivery area is Central and Northern New Jersey along with the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania and the entire northeast. Builders General Supply’s primary delivery area is Monmouth, Ocean, and Middlesex counties in New Jersey along with some northern New Jersey locations and Staten Island in New York.
