NLBMDA: Urge Congress to increase funding for COVID-19 loan programs

In a message to members the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association announced that it has sent a letter to Capitol Hill urging lawmakers to quickly pass additional funding for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) and the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).

NLBMDA has set up a grassroots action alert, accessible by clicking here, for members to contact their elected officials to echo this message.

Funds for these loan programs are quickly depleting and lawmakers need to immediately pass additional funding to ensure that businesses, including LBM dealers, have access to these funds as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

Members are encouraged to access the NLBMDA COVID-19 Action Resource Center for the most recent information and guidance.

Members may also contact NLBMDA Director of Government Affairs Kevin McKenney at kevin@dealer.org with any questions or comments.
